Carb Conversion

Im doing a carb conversion <twin webber 45's> and im having problems to get the alternator and power steering pump to fit.

The alternator hits the manifold. How can i get round this? Its on a 1.9 8v

Remove the PAS. You'll struggle otherwise I'm afraid!

What engine will i get the sump from also the pas kit?

Sump can be any Mi16, 205 AC sump, GTi6 sump etc, Pump is just a std GTi6 pump with custom/modded PAS pipes

I have a gti6 sump and pump so that should fit all fine?

Yes it will, just remove the Plate on the bottom of the block and it will bolt on

Interesting one that arrangement Miles, I guess given the location of the pump that S16 (or 16v ZX) pipework would go straight on.

 

How much is one of those brackets?

It was a custom end on the std 205 pipe over the box as it was the easiest option at the time and the pipe was almost new too, Lynx charge around £100.00 for it but old copy it has them on the 306 Forum at £50.00, It does need spacing differently thou so not a direct fit
