have done a bit of reading and seems the rear lights, boot lock and spoiler are common areas for leaking, what do people use to seal these areas properly?

i have seen it coming in the boot area when i washed it so fairly sure its the spoiler or boot lock, just interested to know what people use to seal it?

tigerseal would probably do it, but depends on whether you want the bit you are sealing to be removable in the future!

I have always used RTV if Ive had a leak. If its window seals then a bit of grease or engine oil will do the trick!

Also worth a look at the washer jet, they come loose and let water in.

It's not my daily driver so have garaged it for the moment to let it dry out, will seal the spoiler, wash jet and lock and see how it goes

Yeah, I'm thinking the same, bought some black silicon sealant from B&screw but don't have a dry environment to apply the stuff...! :(
