Xu7 Head Bolt Washer + Spacer ?

im talking about the one above the water pump housing that requires a long spacer to stop it punching through.

 

do i need a washer as well as the spacer as i cant remember when removing (plus i lost a couple which i am scavaging back from the xu10 bolts)
