Fitting the whole heater and blower unit , before I do , want to make sure that heater unit doesn't have any matrix leaks. How do I do it??

Thank you!

Where and which diameter are they?

Heard that a common failure of the 205 is the heater unit.?

connected a water hose to it from the garden and ran water on mid-low flow , didn't see any leaks yet.

should i block the other pipe when i do it? in normal working condition , is there fluid pressure in there? or just water that flows and goes back to the engine bay area?

If you can pressurise it (14 psi or roughly 1 bar) and stick it in a bucket of water you will find out if the matrix radiator itself leaks.

nice idea

can this method also be used to pressurize the coolant in order to check for leaks BEFORE mounting the inlet manifold?

Thanks :)

It can aslong as you have completed the system. Try not to go to far above 12-14 psi.
