Which Idle Control Valve For My Peugeot 205 1.9 Mi16

Hi all,

 

Think I'm due an idle control valve as my revs are starting to bounce up and down and the car occasionally stalls when dipping clutch when above 2000 revs and coming to a stop at a junction.

 

Not sure which control valve to buy as I haven't got a part number on my old 1.

 

There are a few to pick from on eBay and they start from £29.99 to around £110 for a Bosch one.

 

Can anyone tell me which one I need I.e part number, and also does anyone know what these £29.99 ones off eBay are like?

Got the links for the Ebay ones?, But there is and only has been one type fitted on the 1.9 Mi engine

Hi Miles,

 

There's loads on eBay when you type in 'Peugeot 405 mi16 idle control valve. They have different part numbers so I'm not sure which are ok. Are you saying any 1.9 16v idle control valve for the mi16 will be ok?

 

I was going for the Bosch one but didn't want to pay £110, only for it to be wrong.

This is the item number on ebay 150879859426, not sure how to do a link on iPhone sorry. There's also Bosch one on car parts for less for £81.60 and it only brings up one part.
