Few Questions About Heater & Air Conditioner

Assembling the interior and got few questions about some things i wish to know.

 

 

in the first photo , why i have 2 units? ? i can recognize the resistor the one which is mounted on the Brass plate. what is it's job? and what is the other one below?

 

in the second photo , what is the black plug stuck inside the radiator ?

Where does it's plug go to (in the car)

?

It's all part of the air conditioning. The black box on the brass plate is one of the control units, and the black plug in the second picture is a temperature sensor for the evaporator..

 

Unfortunately I've never seen an air conditioning loom, so I don't know where they plug in exactly.
