Aren't they solid anyway? Subframe to body you talking about?

Non-GTi models use a mount between the body and front subframe. GTi's mount the subframe direct to the chassis leg.

205's use a mount with a rubber bush, whereas 309 GTi (and some other XU models) use a solid one.

The solid ones are marked NFP so it'll be a case of finding some second hand.

Some base models have rubber mounts on the front mounts, I'd imagine Peugeot to be the only place to get them new.

I'd put a wanted add up on here or look for someone scrapping a shell.

Ive got the rubber mounts that bolt the front part of the subframe to the chassis leg. Im after some solid ones, like you say that are fitted to 309 gti-s anthony.

Will they firm the front end up? Or is it not worth borthering and chuck some decent rubber ones one's on?

After re-reading this today i have a question! Gti subframe on to a base model shell, i am right in thinking i can fit it direct to the body?

No. From memory when I went xu running gear on my Rallye I had to refit these mounts.

Would also be interested in solids

Miles

as above you do need them, I can only think the chassis leg's are different for some bizarre reason
