205 Gti Rotary Valve Head

So I'm told Peugeot at one point were testing a rotary valve cylinder head on the original 105bhp version of the 205 GTi 1600, and that it made about 30bhp more than the conventional design that actually saw production. Does anyone have any more information on this?
