Wheel Stud Conversion

Hi,

 

I'm looking at getting wheel stud conversion but there's two lengths 60mm & 80mm which one? I'm running team dynamic pro wheels with no spacers. Pretty sure from memory they should be tapered nuts.

From memory the TD Pro Race wheels require a 60degree tapered setup. That's the taper used on the 1.2's on my Saxo VTS and also the same taper used wth the wheels on a Ford with the same bolt pattern.

Without spacers a 60mm stud is long enough to use the flat face open nuts on standard wheels or any in a suitable offset, 80mm studs are only needed if you are running wheels with spacers.

 

If you are only using wheels that take a taper seat nut, a 60mm stud will be plenty long enough.
