Gti Fuel Pump Innards

Recommended Posts

V8Pete

My 205 was underpowered last Saturday, then eventually wouldn't start. The problem was traced to the fuel pump.

In that cartridge thing that pulls out of the fuel tank, there is a rubber cone between the pump itself and the bottom side of the barb to the fuel line. On mine, it split. As you can see below, Peugeot consider the whole unit to be one part. Does anyone know where I can get just the rubber cone thing? Has anyone else had this problem?

Did you replace the rubber bit or the whole unit?
