Xud9 Conversion. Rev Counter Wiring

Converted my 205 into a 1.9TD, i kept the orignal 1.9 gearbox and now the 205 rev counter sensor will not fit the 306 box, and now i cant get the counter to work with the 306 sensor.

 

Dose anyone know how to get it working again?

Yes as said on 306oc (guessing your the same bloke) just match up the wires with spade connectors. The sensors are the same on 306 and 205 DERV's

When the engine was changed the sensor was a known working one, iv since cut the plugs off and played around with connecting them and cant get anything from it.

 

It could be the clocks, before the change it only worked when it was cold but i would have thaught that was the connection to the sensor

Are you sure you are using the right plugs? It should be 2 wires, red and blue.
