Sorry if this is the wrong place to post. But wasn't sure where to

I'm looking at a set of wheels, the offset is et38 will they go on my 1.4 hubs, with gti6 calipers

No, you'll need spacers - probably something in the region of 20mm or so depending on the width of the wheel.
