As title whats types of sunroofs came on the 205 as the dimma i have just got is on a 88plate and has a sliding sunroof.

 

The roof is not the vacum type or just the tilt version it just slides back is this a standard sunroof or how big a job to change to vac type.

The vacuum and non-vacuum sliding sunroofs are completely different I'm afraid - they look similar at a glance, but dimensions, positioning, parts... all different I'm afraid. To swap, you'd realistically have to change the whole roof skin.

As said, only the vacuum was a OE one, May after-market ones where fitted either at the dealer (Generally outsourced to the local windscreen people), There's even electric ones to name a few, Britix is quite common

Im thinking the hole that is in the roof for my sunroof is smaller than one for a vacum unit what i need is someone who has a vacum sunroof removed to make a template of their roof as i maybe able to just make the hole bigger and fit a vac unit.

Mine has the dealer fit sunroof, if you do decide to get rid of yours there's a few bits i'm after for mine (providing its the same type). I am the circling vulture again but drop me a PM if you junk it.
