Avo Shocks For Rallying

Recommended Posts

My avos were the cheaper ones (gtzs), the only recommendation AVO made for there products to me were the 2 or 3 way remote reservoir rears they do, I think they're £800+ though for the pair.

1038s are the GRP N/challenge rears at about £80 each, 2313s are the GRP A and are around £160 a piece. I highly recommend the 2313s, although they may be a little stiff for gravel events??

I think mr Fenton went from 1038s to 2313s on his turbo road car and was amazed at how much better they performed.

I think I'll get group n and upgrade the rears when I kill them, any ideas for front springs? The gp n are fixed platform aren't they?.

Thinking about it though the 1038 may be ok because I want to put the 21.3 mm partner tb's in the beam

I have challenge frints and yes theyre fixed platform. I'm running PLR Tarmac springs with 21mm rear bars, it's fantastic on the Tarmac but a bit stiff on the rough stuff. On a 150 mile road rally there's generally a maximum of 10 miles of whites so it's not a bad trade off running a bit stiffer.
