Fuel Gauge Problem

Why has it never really worked properly light comes on when I'm low well that's what I think haha

Have you bothered trying to find out?

Fill the car up with fuel, 0 the trip meter.

 

It should get to around 300miles before the light comes on.

It flickers with about 8 litres left and comes on fully with about 4 left.

Only got it back out yesterday will check the wires tomorrow cheers for the info m8

If its healthy it should do 300 to a tank easily if its a 1.9, more so if its 16v
