Spot weld drill tool

Hope so! - Recently bought one, but not had chance to use it yet. Thought it would be easier to use with the spring loaded guide, compared to the flat drill head type. Only slight issue I see is that the cutter would leave a disc of the first layer attached to the second, rather than it been cut away - nothing a quick pass with a grinder wouldn't sort.

 

I also got an automatic center punch as the same time, to stop the drill bit from skipping over the surface and cutting in the wrong place - might want to consider getting one of you haven't already

we have for years used these in our bodyshop item number 110972945738 just dont run them too higher speed or they can burn out quick. i put about 50 holes through some 4mm plate the other week and was still cutting fine. if you hold your drill square they wont run off unlike the ones you've viewed as the centre pin on normal bit cuts its own guide. hth.
