How do i get this one off?

 

Im i right thinking that i need to get this off to take the wing off?

What the rubbery stuff around it? Can i get replacement rubbers for it?

 

I think it was tom (above) i emailed for some new bolts for this

Im also struggling with the plastic panel that is screwed in and also struggling with metal pipe screws that sit in with it, i have tryed to mole grip them and resorted to drilling them out only to make my drill bit blunt!

 

Should i chop those off with the grinder aswell?

I'd cut all the rusty older bolts out and replace with new. Odds are you'll not be able to reuse the older bolts and they could damage the new parts installed. Have you soaked the part in WD40? Maybe a Dremel with a small cut off disc to cut the bolt off.

yeah soaked everything with WD40 used a wirewool brush to get the loose rust and dirt off.

 

soon as i put the screwdriver in and turned it ended up mashing the head up. having a nightmare with getting the door openers and lock mechanisms out as well! :(
