Gti-6 Bottom Outlet On Engine Block

Hi,

 

It was a while ago I took my engine apart and the bottom outlet on the block next to the oil filter what's it for and where should it connect?

Part of the oil breather system isn't it? from memory theres a pipe from the rocker to the port on the block.

Thought there was but thought it might have another outlet some where.

yep, a large breather pipe comes off there and around the starter motor joining another one that goes up to the cam cover.
