Gti6 Inlet Manifold

dose anyone know if you need the black box on the underside of the inlet manifold or can it be blanked off if it can would it be an improvement

This has been covered a fair few times already, google is your friend, but yes they can be removed & blanked, cheesegrater does some neat blanking plugs for them.

You can take it off, but will need to bung the hole.

 

Bungs are often made up by people from Ali for around £10.

 

It will make the induction noise louder. I did intend to do back to back testing with and without, but fitted bodies instead
