Does A Xsara Vts Rack Fit Base Model Subframe

just after a definitive yes or no as to whether a vts rack will fit a base model subframe.

 

It looks as if it might be a tight squeeze where the gear pivot is.

 

If anybody has done this, or tried it and it hasnt worked, please let me know.

 

Just contemplating plans on how to go about fitting my vts rack, as I will innevitably be going down the gti subframe route eventually, but wasnt planning on doing it particularly soon.

I dont believe a pas rack will fit a tu subframe because of the gear post.
