Anyone Know Where I Can Get A Glovebox?

My phase 1 GTi's glovebox fell off and pulled off the surround with it...anyone got any idea where I can get another one? I'm struggling as it's a C reg and it turns out they're really hard to get hold of gloveboxes for them!!

Hi Emma. They are not very common as they often break on Phase 1 GTIs. ebay is possibly your best bet, though I know Baz on here has a lot of old interior stock, so may have something available

I have a glovebox sure, but the surround is in two pieces as is usual...

Your best bet is to get this plastic welded by a plastic repair specialist.

 

Unfortunately, is seems it is virtually impossible to get one on ebay, I have been trying for over 18 months with no success, all seem to be broken.

I repaired the last one I was looking after with some fibreglass, was quite sturdy afterwards!
