306 D/shaft Compatibility Across The Range

Recommended Posts

I'm breaking a ph3 1.8 16v 306 cab and want to use the hubs on my 2.0 8v ph1 is this possible?

Also someone owning a 306 2.0 16v cab wants one of the shafts from my 1.8 will they be compatible?

Cheers

Yup, only difference is for non pas and non abs, non pas are shorter as they have less camber due to shorter balljoints

Not doubting you but are you 100% sure on this?

It's just I asked the same question on the cab forum and was told the 2.0 8v and 1.8 16v are the same but not the 2.0 16v .

Personally I thought they were all the same bar the differences you mentioned above.

I can't imagine there would be any reason for 8 and 16v to be different if other variables are the same, I'm using xsara shafts on my zx.

it may be that some are solid and others larger hollow construction, I know that's the only difference between my zx and the xsara.
