Smell Like Glue ?

Hi all,

 

 

I seem to be getting a smell in the car, reminds me of glue or silicon. I originally thought is was something outside but it popped up a number of times now. random also as it will do it when very cold but last noticed after a motorway run.

 

i thought is was a pipe for something too close to the gti6 manifold but everything looks ok. only other thing i can think of is heating? as the heat is set on the blowers now but its not constant.

 

any ideas on what to check over?

 

couldn't be wiring inside the car? it doesn't small electrical or burning really so I'm at a loss!
