Whistle Sound When Slightly Turning Right/left Mini Cooper

Recommended Posts

omri617

Hi guys ,

when i drive my 2002 Mini Cooper , at any speed , during turning left/right for example moving to another lane , i hear some whistle that i don't hear when driving straight.

i think (not sure) that sometimes when i push the brake during the turn , it vanishes

what could it be?

Front brake pads rubbing on the disc, could be rust on the disc somewhere, or pads tight in carrier, caliper piston slightly seized, etc etc.

In summary have the front brakes to pieces and give them an overhaul.
