205 Turbo Rev Counter

Recommended Posts

swinisskill

Just bought a 205 turbo and would like to get the rev counter working if possible. Its a 605 srti engine, same as 406 sri? Anybody any idea on how to get this to work (any sensors?, pin numbers etc), at the moment its completely dead :(

Your rev counter signal wire will come from the ecu, on the 605 (assuming its the same as either the 406 or 806) from either pin 13 or 32 afaik but you'll need to convert the standard rev counter to work with the digital signal.

Unfortunately, my autodata doesn't have the ecu pin outs for the 605 so I can tell you exactly which ecu pin sends the signal.

Goodstuff, I just redone one an a mates 205 and that didnt need the zener either. Strange as mine did. Not sure if the type of ECU makes the difference? Mine was on megasquirt his on Omex.
