Manual Window Regulator

Having some problems with the drivers window regulator. When winding the window up and down there is a rough hard to move section then back to smooth, winding the passanger window is a nice clean smooth wind up and down. Is that suggestiong the regulator is dieing have tried to grease the cogs but hasnt improved anything. Any thoughts?

Its more likely to be the window channel imo.

 

These slide onto the glass & the winder rollers run along the channels but they are well known to rust away causing problems such as this.

 

 

New ones are still available at £15.80 from Peugeot.

 

Strangley cheaper direct than from ebay.

Thanks Graham should of stated its a new window channel thats fitted and its in the exact same place as where the old channel was located ordered a new regulator from pug so see how it goes
