Insurance Asking For Make Of Immobiliser?

Hi all, hope everyone is well!

Just changed insurance provider as the old one wanted silly money! changed to sainsburys which are pretty cheap! Only question is that they asked for the make of the immobiliser? All i know is that it came with the car from the factory 20 years ago..... How would i go about providing them the information? I have the origional documents from when bought and there is an information packet about the immobiliser but didnt really state what make just that it was installed, they wouldnt take "factory fitted" as an answer...

 

Has anyone else had this problem? if so how did they sort it out?

205's never came with factory immobilisers, that I know of on a gti anyway, they will have been dealer fit equipment at best (or in my experience, not far from worst...)

 

I came across this problem when I first bought my 205, it had a 22 year old Laserline alarm, I just got that removed and another fitted.
