Rear Mudflap Struts

Dont suppose anybody with official mudflaps could post a picture of how the rear pair are attached to the car, its my understanding that there's a metal bracket involved somehow?

was thinking about knocking one up and seeing if i could use it to attach the supposed "universal mudflaps" i got of Ebay.

there should be a strut that sits at about 45 degrees pointing upwards towards the lip of the inner wing, an M6 bolt clamps on the lip.

I don't have one of them fitted, but this is what the originals look like.
