Yup! Peak boost said to be 2.5 bar which is straight up, peak revs over 8k, straight up as well

that is quite possibly the ugliest car i have ever seen,the add on arches look like they were knocked up in someones lock up,bet it would be a hoot to drive with the lotus running gear though,the old lotus sunbeams were and still are awesome cars

Afraid not, Chrysler Sunbeam (later Talbot Sunbeam) was a Rootes product, basically a Hillman Avenger with a hatch body, hastily engineered to create jobs and a supposedly viable showroom product for the dealers, who were losing market share rapidly with the old crap they had to sell (my Grandpa was one of them). Talbot Samba was the last attempt, but came too late for his business.
