Advise On Panel Sealent

As title what sealent do you guys use after fitting panels,?. thanks in advance.

As an after though is it needed, i am talking about inner wings and front panels ect?

Try Sikaflex Harry. Good stuff, you can almost stick the panels with it Lol. And you can overpaint it!

3m spray sealer but used in a normal mastic gun. its very soft so brushes over lovely. tiger seal's good but doesn't brush out as good as the spray sealer.

3m and Wurth sealer is pretty good.I would seal where the panels meet,rub it in then wipe it out straight away if you dont want to see it.Pre-clean/panel wipe is good for this

Ditto .. PU Wurth sealer (it stays on flexible , never hardens never cracks .. like a some kind of rubber mass ..)

 

Just , never ever use over bare metal ... always epoxy or zinc prime first , then apply sealer (also , if using acid/etch primer as a base on bare metal avoid applying sealer on top cos the acid will lift the sealer off ..)
