Recommended Posts

I'm looking to fit a set of car ramps or two into my unit. Basically I don't have a clue where is best or what makes are more reliable.

Anyone shed any light on the subject.

I'd imagine ebay is as good as anywhere as a starter?

However be aware that a ramp is classed as lifting equipment and as such needs a 12 monthly inspection by an independant competant person under LOLER.

I have been using Tecalemit ramps in the past 15 years and never had problem with them apart from replacing the belts at top. I think likes of these and Hoffman etc are the better ones. I would stay away from the cheap chinese type ones, cant remember there name.

No personal experience but have noticed that many places around here use Tecalemit lifts, 2 and 4 post.
