Im wondering if its possible to repair the crack in this wheel strong enough not to have an issue with it in the future.

If it's cracked there once, it's only ever going to end up being weaker around there after welding.

is it a 1508 speedline?

there's probably a reason why most race teams chuck mag wheels away every season or so...

If it wasn't all the way through, id say you could repair it, but in my opinion thats too far gone. As phil has said, it will now always be the weak link.

No, Pro race 1. Very like the 1508's but more curved spokes and a tad cheaper!!

I spoke to someone today who reckoned he could fix it but im not sure to be honest.

Hard to find a replacement to match.

Wouldn't touch second hand mag wheels..

They can split up into pieces and catch on fire :/

I know someone that can fix it no probs, personally I'd keep it as an ornament.

If that spoke has gone the others wont be far behind......

You got me thinking there, I was told they were and by the weight of them (6kg) I had no reason to disagree but after looking into it a bit turns out they don't make them and never did  And here's me thinking I had 8 (well 7!) lovely mag wheels

I know 1.2's are not mag and are within a few grammes of those.

Seriously light wheel. Not mad on the 1.2's with the etching around the rim, had a set in 16 and felt a bit heavier than the 1's.
