Grey And Red Cloth Seats

what year did they start appearing on the 205's

 

i have seen a set and just asking so to wether they would suit my 205 blue miami 91 plate with black cloth seats

Do you mean the quartet fabric? The red and black squares?

 

These were around 1990 (depends on manufacture - not registration plate) for a 1.9 not sure about the 1.6

 

Would look right at home in a 1991 car

Do you mean the grey tweed-like seats found on Phase 1.5 1.6 GTi models?

 

 

If so, they appeared in mid-late 1987 and carried on through to mid 1990.

 

They don't look right in Phase 2 models with the black trim, IMO at least.
