Zender Bodykit

just bought one of these as i think i'm going to go kind of euro look on the 205,what are your opinions on this kit,is it a good period modification ? i like the front, and rear bumper kind of has the look of the pugsport kit,not too sure on the sideskirts though,need the lower valances as i am going to run 16x7 wheels,or at least nimrods

well i really want to run rota rb's 16x7 or track r's 16x7 but going to need spacers or even hub adaptors for the rota gt3's in 15x8 but not too sure if they will clear gti6 brakes

The few pics I can find of this kit I like the front!! Sides are always a dodgy area for all kits IMO as are rears, but I definitely like the front!!! Can't really find any good pics of the side and rear though to judge this kit

I'm not a fan of the side skirts, but I like the bumpers. Nimrods should look good but get SL434's if you can as they look awesome IMO

It gives the 205 an almost "Tom sellek" esk chin.

Shiney's 205 didn't (doesn't) have a standard Zender valance though. He modified his. Looks much better too.

aye shiny has cut out the slats in the centre and made a kind of air duct in the square cutouts where the standard spotlights are meant to sit,the sideskirts are the ones that go up to the side mouldings and the rear valance is a bit lower but looks a bit like the peugeot sport valance that i had on my old mi16,but i wont be cutting it up this time to fit a twin 4 inch centre exit lol

i know a guy that might be able to take moulds of the front bumper and make quality copies in fibreglass,i will maybe have a word and see what kind of price if anyone interested

Good luck with that, as with many others that tried too, they can damage the original valance.

Full kit looks quite smart, not sure on the rear screen spoiler..

Full kit is not one for me Im afraid. Looks a bit like a failed Renault 5. And the overly harsh edges jar with the subtle curves of the standard body. Makes it look quite heavy and low too, especially with sideskirts. No longer looks nimble. Would need larger wheels to offset the increase in Body surface area just to balance it visually.

 

By all means mod the front but personally shiny's is the benchmark for me. Subtle styling tweaks and performance orientated.

 

Still would like to see how it turns out. And sl 434s are defo teh sex.

so does anyone know where to get this 'Zender' kit i would like to purchase one as they look brilliant and are not o.t.t and look quite subtle
