Remote Locking

did all the gti's come with a plug so you could fit remote locking, the standard one that sits in the sunroof part,

Not completely sure, but I believe all 1.6 had normal locks, the 1.9 had central locking and remote locking can be fitted with after market kits.

My 1.6 gti is central locking, i put the key in the drivers door and it locks and unlocks the passenger and the boot

 

so if i got the liitle board and remote, it should work i guess

Ph2's only have the capability for remote.

i have phase 1 cti and bought this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PEUGEOT-106-205-206-306-REMOTE-CENTRAL-LOCKING-4D-KIT-/370438827887?pt=UK_Car_Accessories_Safety_Security&hash=item563fdfef6f It all fits perfectly where original central locking should fit and works like a charm, quite a long range on the remotes tho which can be a bit of a pain as you never know if you caught the unlock button in your pocket. For the price is a bargain and very simple to fit too

mine is a phase 2 so it should have a plug in the sunroof and thats it just plug it in and it should all work
