Which Exhaust Is This!?

Recommended Posts

Rock Lobster

Need a liitle help! Does anybody have a clue what exhaust this is? I bought it a fair few years ago and was assured it was from a 205. But obviously not my GTi so it has been left in the garage since. Its a stainless exhaust with just one box on the back so will be a bit on the loud side I think!

Decided I need the room so need this gone, very hard to sell something when you don't know what it is

IIRC that'll be for a TU engined 205, many of which did not use centre silencers anyway, with a generic custom rear silencer, from the likes of longlife etc.

That excellent. cheers for your help mate, I guessed it must have been a TU but have only ever owned a 1900 so thought I'd best ask someone who actually knows what they are talking about!

In terms of TU engines, is this all other petrols apart from the XU. i.e XS, Rallye ETC?

Is there much call for these second hand?

Thanks again!

Nice to see someone making a 205 GTI exhaust that comes out straight at the back. Only Piper ever did from the factory IIRC, but it was not stainless. I have always thought the angled exit a bit "Vauxhall Nova" and preferred the Magnex's made for the 309 & 405
