Standard Snchros with Joe Gibbs Racing Synth gearbox oil...75/85

Have you used that oil previously with pug synchros? They always seem a lot happier with Total BV in my experience.

I had the same problem finding 3rd when in a hard right hander under load. I adjusted the longer of the 2 east west linkages by 15mm and now no issue, did a 3 hour enduro on the weekend, the shifting was a breeze.

here is a replay of the race if you like motor racing

if it needs it, yes it does, seeing as that is a pic of a 205 kit, it needs it.

306 kit comes with that arm.

From my experience of heated screens in rally cars I'll keep the heater - which I have in my car. NEVER had a misting problem unlike the cars with heated screens I've been in ...

Has anyone tried the TU version? I'm considering one for my Euro Rallye

I've used one for the last couple of years on my Euro Rallye and it's an excellent piece of kit and it can be removed at a later date and the only modification is a small hole in the bulkhead.

Thanks! Thats just what i wanted to hear!

I think I'll try one out. I have changed my rods to some better ones, also the bottom bust to bronze. It better but not that good.

Would it be possible for you to take a picture or measure so I can seen where to cut the hole in the bulkhead ;-)

I received mine now, however there is no stensil for cutting the hole in the bulkhead.

When I installed mine I drilled a small hole in roughly the right place, then put a piece of string through it and tied it to the pivot point and the gearstick (pulled tight).

This gives a good indication of where the hole needs to go - repeat until the string goes through the bulkhead and stays straight, use this hole as a pilot hole.

I need to fit mine now and there are not instructions.

Would it be possible to take some pictures of the installation in the engine bay, or under the car when you have time?

Many Thanks 205Rallee
