Can't say I have ever come across them. However makes me very glad I brought the front and rears last year. Was pretty cheap from memory.

Might have come across som main dealer old stock over here so think I might be lucky, fingers crossed

However I also wonder about the chrome stripes on the doors.

I'm about to repaint the whole car and the old ones need to come off to do a proper job.

My impression is that they are glued on, so I'm afraid of damaging them when removing it..

Anyone got experience with the door trim? I mean the part which goes around the window circumference.

Door mouldings are easy to remove. Just pull it away in one piece with the chrome strips attached. The glue strip on them from new has probably gone hard by now & doesn't seem to affect the paintwork underneath. Petrol removes the glue.

When I refitted mine, I did away with the glue & just used the pins which hold the strips on. Take note of their direction-the thin edge goes up.

Bumper strips are plasticised & can be removed. Push back from an edge & they should begin to slide off. The rear might need some persuasion by levering it.

It's the window mouldings that are glued or double sided taped onto the door?

At least on the top?

Any luck in removing and re-attaching those?

I need to know whether to just leave them on and mask they off during spraying, or do it properly and remove them if possible to make them look fairly good afterwards.

I agree that the main door mouldings on the side of the door are easy to remove :)

the chrome bits around the window are part of the seals, probably need to remove the runner for the glass before they can be removed on the front, and the 1/4 glass on the rear doors.
