The car is on 45mm throttle bodies

 

What do you recommend?

hydraulic or solids, which pistons?

If hydraulic, std 10.4:1, aftermarket ECU and bigger injectors, I would use my Stage II regrind on the inlet and Stage I regrind on the exhaust. It will rev to the limit of the hydraulic lifters, peak power 7200-7300 depending on where you time the inlet cam. Specs here: http://www.taylor-eng.com/xu9j4/16v_camgrinds.htm

 

Anything bigger on the inlet and you'll need to flycut the pistons, more compression etc.

Yeah standard pistons and hydraulic lifters, my boss is set up to pocket pistons if needs be.
