Front Arm Bushes

Recommended Posts

Guest P Zero

My suspension is knocking quite badly and one of the drop links has come apart so I thought I'd attempt the bushes at the same time.

Has anyone replaced their front arm bushes themselves or is it a garage job?

Do you mean the 'P' shaped bushes or the round front ones? Or both? I have done the rear P shaped ones at home but not attempted the fronts bushes yet

I've done it, but I work in a garage

you can do it with a decent home workshop though, a vice, angle grinder and a blowtorch is required, and preferably a press too.

basically do it as haynes suggest:)

I meant the front bushes. I've done a P bush before but never attempted the fronts. I have access to a press but I think I'll take it into a garage because mine is full of disassembled BMW ;)
