Mi16x4 S1 Steering Rack

The steering rack in my Mi16x4 has wear in the body so that the rack itself can move around in the body. Not much movement but enough fo it to be rejected for a warrant of fitness, at first I thought the wear might be in the tie rod inner ball joints but no, it's the rack itself.

 

So I'm looking for a second hand rack.

 

Looking at the parts manual the 4x4 cars (RHD) have a different rack to the FWD cars:

"BVM except 4x4" 4000 71

versus

"BVM 4x4" 4000 76.

 

Has anyone researched the difference between the two part numbers?

 

Does the housing have bushes or does the rack run directly on the aluminium housing?
