My car had air con and i must admit it made it alittle difficult but it still didnt merit takin the inlet manifold off.

Just be prepared to scrape your knuckles abit on the air con rad fins like i did.

I got mine out through the gap between the inlet and gearbox.

You guys must have damned long thin arms and fingers! I figured it was nigh on impossible to do with the inlet on

It's a bast*rd of a fiddle or take either the inlet mani off, or my preferred option of whipping the rad out...

I've taken the inlet off about 6 times now since I got the car. Could do it blindfolded now (almost)!!

Yeah same here, think I've had my inlet off about 5 times now. Still annoying that you have to do it though!
