A question here for anyone that knows... is there any other standard management systems that will work on this engine and be better than the original? I was just thinking whether any of the other newer pug engines had an ecu which could be swapped and would give better power than the standard item? Has anyone ever tried or is this something that i could try and find out by trial and error?

No reason why the S16 ECU and loom couldn't be used with the GTi6 inlet to make the sensor's easy, Just need remaping which makes it expensive which is the only downside,
