Earth Fault

My ABS light has started to come on and now i have a V bad earth fault.

 

If my ABS system is shorting out somewhere would that cause an earth fault

Whats the symptoms of the earth fault?

Lights dimming when fan blower is turned on max or indicators flicked on, turn on anything electrical and something else dies

Might be worth unplugging the ABS unit/ECU and see if the earth fault disappears. If it does then the ABS system is at fault. Maybe one of the sensor looms has rubbed through and has grounded somewhere?

may be worth checking the rear light earths as the abs ecu see the earth generated by the brake pedal switch from the rear lamps.
