Ecu Coolant Sensor

Hey guys, i asked this on the yahoo groups board but i think the guy that answered didn't realise i said for a 2.0l mi16. So can anyone point it out? there is a blue sensor on top of thermostat housing near where i guess distributor would be on 1.9 engines. Is that it? it has 3 pins :-S. Engine is a bit lumpy sometimes and not very economical just wondered ifs it broken.

I think it's the trigger sensor for the cams.

Uses to let the ECU know what cylinder is going to fire next...

theres 2 under the thermostat housing, i think its one of them

Thanks guys, i had a look and it looks really hard to get to so being lazy i think i won't try right now. I have (every now and then) a bogging down until about 2500-3000 with full throttle and then it picks up. Engine is very strong when cold. Would this suggest the oxygen sensor perhaps or still the coolant sensor? It intermitant which is annoying and I can't tell if its retarding the timing or fueling quite wrong it's never been that economical in the 2 years i have had it but i think its getting worse
