O2 Sensor

Recommended Posts

Guest franco

Was wondering if anyone knows the part no. of the O2 sensor (connected to the manifold) is, whether it be Bosch or otherwise?

I'm guessing part nos. sourced from europe/UK would be the same as what we have here in Australia? Engine is XU9J4Z (catalytic convertor equiped).

Cheers :P

Preferably specific, with wire and connector, not one of the universal sensors. I see NGK do one, but confused as to their model selection, as I think it specifys a non-cat XU9J4 engine in their listing, not sure if there is any difference to a cat-equiped one?

It specifys a non-cat one??! But a non-cat 405 won't have an O2 sensor. I think the part no. is 0 258 003 227. That's the Bosch number anyhow.

Cheers kris

The confusion comes about when I look at the NGK online catalogue for Australia. It doesn't specify whether its for an australian Mi16 (which is 'XU9J4Z' is not listed, only 'XU9J4' is listed.

My only guess is that these 2 engines would use the same o2 sensor.

Have a look yourself:

For year, I guess my car falls under 1/89 - 12/9 (?)

I'll check the bosch number out, thanks!

I have a couple at home, I'll look later. I know they're Bosch but unsure of the part number. I thought only the XU9J4Z had an O2 sensor? They usually don't fit them without a cat. Leaded fuel kills them very quickly.
