Picked Up My 205 Rallye Today

Recommended Posts

Well i've made the move to french cars officially now, started in the Ford world with a mk1 Fiesta and still running a mk2 Orion for daily duties.

this will be my hillclimb/sprint car, starting in roadgoing class next year and probably onto modified production the following year.

drives pretty well although clutch is very low and brakes are soft and progressive so need to look at that.

will be at the Retro Rides Gathering this weekend for it's first and only show under my ownership as a standard car (hopefully)

might be going for the xs engine for sale on here.

it's nice and straight but needs the usual work behind the headlights, feels solid but the paint is gone and there's surface rust down there.

bonnet is rotten aswell but that will be replaced with fibreglass anyway.

can't wait to find an excuse to go back out now :D

Very nice that mate. Love seeing other rallyes being kept on the road and not scrapped!
