How Do You Remove Mould?

Recommended Posts

omega

just spent this afternoon picking up a ford ka for a mates son who is just takeing driving lessons{hes 17].hes been given this car thats been stood for about 2 years.well after freeing of the brakes and useing a new battery we manged to get it started and drove it onto the trailer.the car apppears to be in good condition and its only got 33000 on the clock and with old mots to back this up so hes going to tidy it up and get it ready for the mot for when he passes his test.

now although the car is tidy there is a very strong musty smell and the carpets are damp so this needs looking at ,the seats are fine but the seat belts are covered in mould so whats the best way to remove mould? is there anything special you should buy or is it a case of just getting some hot water on the job? and how come both front and rear seat belts are covered in the stuff yet the seats are fine?

at the minute hes just opening all the doors to let some air flow round it

That stuff is amazing, but it's basically bleach so keep it clear of metals.
