joed66 4 Posted August 10, 2012 As the title states but do they make much difference on handeling?
bertie_bas 3 Posted August 10, 2012 Probably not much over brand new ones, some say they are better but i didnt really notice.... I had solid ones as my rubbery ones were fooked.....
Batfink 201 Posted August 10, 2012 I think it helps the rear be more predictable but I cannot say I really noticed anything as such.
joed66 4 Posted August 10, 2012 See i find mine is prodictable like when it slides in the wet i know when its gonna loose the grip thats why i love the
Miles 331 1 Cars Posted August 10, 2012 205 ones are quite stiff anyway when new rubber, They do cost a fair bit thou
JRL 14 1 Cars Posted August 10, 2012 I found they gave me a lot more confidence in the cars handling I therefore would recommend them.
petert 578 Posted August 11, 2012 it does improve confidence. It's a bit like having your bum glued to the seat/car. However, and I've posted this many times before, if they don't have crush as shown tubes it's a waste of time.
welshpug 1,646 Posted August 11, 2012 why would it be a waste of time? any that I've ever seen other than yours have just clamped the very hard nylon.
petert 578 Posted August 11, 2012 The crush tube spreads the load over the length of the bush better than a poorly fitting bolt. Your choice of course,
welshpug 1,646 Posted August 11, 2012 naah, not my choice, I have standard pug rubber ones
boldy205 74 Posted August 11, 2012 GrpA 'Front' beam mounts are a good upgrade, the rear however, the alloy sandwich plates are stuipidly noisy, so much so, i took them off! My car is very noisy, already, and only used on trackdays, or a sunday blast, but my god those alloy rear mounts are something else!! Matt
lemmingzappa 75 1 Cars Posted August 14, 2012 I've got all solid GrpA mounts with a stripped out interior on my daily and can't say I notice the noise. But maybe i'm just used to it now.
