Lowland Speed Championship (hillclimbs & sprints) project

Here's my car so far, as usual with these projects, taking longer than hoped!

She's a 1.6 GTi with 309 GTi engine, axles, brakes...

EBC discs & yellow stuff pads

AST coilovers & rear shocks

Cobra Monaco seats (the wide ones, if you know me you know why!)

5-point TRS harnesses

Safety Devices Cage

Front strut braces (lower fitted, upper to fit)

FSE Power Boost Valve (need to set this up properly, anyone recommend the correct pressure?)

Wheels are 1.9 shod with either Yoko Prada's (track days) or ACB10's (competitions)

Engine is 1.9 8v for now, has K&N and supposidly a fast road cam (so said the 309 owner, but no paperwork to prove it, so I'm assuming it's actually standard!)

Grp N engine kit

Grp A rear axle kit

Braided brake lines & fuel lines (internal)

Stainless gear rods (bronze bushes to fit, need to work out where they go!)

Race battery

4-branch stainless Japspeed

Stainless centre exit exhaust

Electrical cut-off and obligatory safety stickers to be added.

In this spec (with the interior) she'll be an A2 class car, will use as is to dial in the handling then during the winter I plan an Mi16 conversion and strip out the interior putting her into B2 next season.

The aim is to get as close to 200bhp & 800kg as possible, but rules mean must remain a XU9 block, hence the Mi16 conversion plans.

A big thanks to Graeme & Davy who have helped so much in getting her to this stage! :D
